Once again we found ourselves off our planned route and in search of a campground. We were blessed to stumble upon Camping in the Clouds where we were so comfortable we wound up staying for three nights as we caught up on some blogging and rest. For a little bit about our stay and the incredibly kind owners, Lynda and Will, check out Tom’s blog post and to click here to listen to some of the sounds of the stormy nights.

Along the trail…
Where’s the moose ~ each time we stopped along Gun Flint Trail, other folks would stop and ask if we saw a moose. So that was the first question Kathleen Litwin asked when we stopped to see what she was working on. Turns out she was part of a group doing plein air paintings along the trail. To view Kathleen’s paintings on her website, click here.
At the trails end…
…and need a delicious burger, the Trails End Café is just the place. We made it to the end of Gun Flint Trail in northeast MN and found ourselves there as Tom shares in this blog post.
