Big Lagoon State Park

As we’ve been traveling through the beautiful state of Florida we have found many great state park campgrounds.  The Big Lagoon State Park is one of our new favorites and should you find yourself around the Pensacola area you can’t go wrong!

Our Favorite Campground From Our Pennsylvania Journey

Hello everyone.  If you’ve been following along, you have probably guessed our favorite campground from our journey to Lancaster, Pennsylvania.  You’re right – Flory’s Camping and Cottages – where our stay of two nights turned into eight. The campsites and facilities were clean and well maintained and it was very quiet – with only the sound of the horse and buggies clopping by in evening.

Our Favorite Campground on Our 2016 Florida Road Trip

Hello everyone.  Today we wanted to share with you one of our favorite campgrounds from our December 2016 road trip to the state of Florida.  It was located at the St. George Island State Park. This state park is a hidden gem. We would like to keep it to ourselves but that wouldn’t be fair. The campsites and facilities were clean, well maintained and it was wonderfully peaceful. We could have stayed for weeks.

Camping in WI…

Once again we found ourselves off our planned route and in search of a campground. We were blessed to stumble upon Camping in the Clouds where we were so comfortable we wound up staying for three nights as we caught up on some blogging and rest. For a little bit about our stay and the incredibly kind owners, Lynda and Will, check out Tom’s blog post and to click here to listen to some of the sounds of the stormy nights.
