Day 16 of 28 ~ By Tom ~
Welcome back to a recap of our trip across United States and day 16 of our journey. We were up and out by 9:30 and heading for Theodore Roosevelt National Park in North Billings, ND. What an awesome place. The views of the flora and fauna were spectacular. After spending hours touring this area we were starved. This is when we discovered the Little Missouri Dining Saloon where the food was awesome and our server par excellence. From here it was off again meandering through Beach, ND before realizing we had passed any places to stay. So around 2:30 a.m. in the pitch of darkness we pulled over at a rest stop in Reed Point, MT for some desperately needed sleep. We had just driven over 9 hours (470 miles) and we were beginning to see some pink elephants in the road, lol.
