Welcome back everyone. Thanksgiving is such a great time to give thanks. Google defines “Thanksgiving as: 1st the expression of gratitude, especially to God). Well for us this definition nailed it for our Thanksgiving experience. An awesome time in Old Forge, NY. The campground was pretty much deserted as was the town except for a few folks who, like us, were breaking away from their traditions to enjoy the quiet and beauty of the Adirondack Mountains. The funny thing was our lives didn’t fall apart because we broke tradition but the truth be known we discovered so much more about what Thanksgiving truly is. It was also great to have family waiting with excitement to hear about our adventure. They say a picture is worth a thousand words so hopefully you won’t mind the thousands of words in these pictures.

it is so great – and sending some sunshine through the comment – 🙂 have a nice day

Hopefully the spring will float this way, lol. Isn’t it great when the birds are singing and scurrying around. They make us smile.

same here…
and I stopped to listen to the birds this morning.
well I always appreciate the birds – but in winter there are way less. However, this morning – I let the dog out and noticed a new sound – there was an early spring vibe… it was such a gift.

Winter and the other 3 seasons are each beautiful. It was fun looking on the map to read about Aberdeenshire. It is great to explore the world through bloggers like yourself.

Parts of America look so good covered in snow. Best we get in the south of England is odd sprinklings. Where the missus is from in Aberdeenshire, that gets real snow! 🙂
