Welcome back to a recap of our trip across United States and day 22 of our journey. Ahhhh, day 22 and we couldn’t believe how fast the time had gone by. Our route took us from Sioux Falls, through Worthington, MN, Buffalo Center, IA and on into Charles City IA where we would spend the night. We traveled 232 miles and 7 hours. When we arrived, we couldn’t figure out what was going on because the buildings were all barricaded with sand bags. Then as we drove around it became clear that there was major flooding taking place.
