Welcome back to a recap of our trip across United States and day 14 of our journey. We woke to a beautiful day at Lake Bronson State Park and we packed and were on the road by 11:30. We drove west 276 miles through the communities of Cando, Rugby and ending up in Minot, ND some 7 hours later. What a scenic ride and so many wonderful people to chat with. The best moment was when we stopped in Cando, ND for something to eat at a Dairy Queen and we ended up staying for almost 2 hours chatting with the owner and his patrons. From here we moseyed along to Rugby, ND to check out the Geographical Center of North America. It sure felt good finally settling down at the Dakota Inn in Minot, ND.
