Yes, we agree. There is just something about holding a map like a book and feeling it. Adds to the moment. We have saved ours, yes coffee stains and all, because they are part of our journal of travels.

I adore maps. Although Google and MapQuest are so convenient, there is nothing like those paper ones that are impossible to refold, tear along the folds, and always seem to be decorated in coffee rings. I miss them! 🙂
