Our Favorite Campground on Our 2016 Florida Road Trip

Hello everyone.  Today we wanted to share with you one of our favorite campgrounds from our December 2016 road trip to the state of Florida.  It was located at the St. George Island State Park. This state park is a hidden gem. We would like to keep it to ourselves but that wouldn’t be fair. The campsites and facilities were clean, well maintained and it was wonderfully peaceful. We could have stayed for weeks.

Thank you for stopping by and we hope to see you back again real soon so until then be safe and keep looking up.

  1. Weren’t the Badland incredible. Its funny because we were all set to stay at Sage Creek but Audrey got hit with a bout of food poisoning so we opted for a little cabin. A couple places we were at the bison wandered through and it was so awesome. Something you don’t experience every day, lol.

  2. Thanks for sharing. Hopefully, Niecie and I will be able to visit one day. We really enjoyed camping in the Badlands. Sage Creek camp is primitive but the people there were awesome and they Bison walked through the campsite every day.

  3. Awesome to get this information about St. Simons for our trip this December. We definitely will check it out!! We’ll find the pix on your site. It’ll be good to see your photos and how you captured the images. They say copying is a form of flattery, lol. We look at it as we learn from others that have walked the path before us.
