The Journey From Muskegon, MI to Beulah, MI ~ By Tom ~

As we journeyed from Muskegon to Beulah the scenery was awesome just like our new friends Dani and Trent said it would be.  The roadways were in excellent condition and everywhere we stopped people were so friendly.  Our final resting point was when we checked in at the “Sleeping Bear Dunes-Platte River Campground in Beulah, MI  This place was awesome.  Each campsite was meticulously placed to maximize our privacy and be able to enjoy the wilderness without feeling like we were at a National Park.  After checking in we both had the hankering for good ole fashioned pizza.  We stumbled onto Papano’s Pizza #2 for an incredibly good pie.  We got it to go and went out to eat it along the Lake Michigan shoreline in Frankfort as Emma looked on.  The sunset was awesome and we basked in it until dark and wandered back to our campsite for a relaxing night’s sleep.
