I can’t believe it’s already time for Audrey to head down the road to meet her sister and brother for their “Appalachian Trail” walk.  This will be their third trip on the trail and Audrey’s second but from hearing her speak, it is worth it every step. I guess there is something about strapping that 30-pound pack on your back, pleasant and perhaps not so pleasant encounters with wild life, sleeping under the stars, eating nuts and berries and walking the trails that so many have walked before yet each experiencing their own private journey.  Over the past months she has shared experiences and pictures from her last trip and I cannot help but feel excitement for what she will encounter this time.  Perhaps she’ll share some of the images and stories in upcoming moments?  While Audrey was gone, Emma and I worked on putting “check marks” on several of the “post-it” notes since were only 27 days left before departure.  Thank God, Audrey had some experience in “web design” and gave me a quick overview so I could be working on it in my “off” hours… yeah right, off hours!  We decided to use “WordPress” for our Website and I must say it is a phenomenal program with support that is “par excellence”!  Well, I gotta sign off now to walk Emma.
