The sounds of the bugs at night on the Appalachian Trail were incredibly loud. I’m curious to find out if they are this loud everywhere or just in the eastern mountains. ~ Sleep well ~ Audrey

Wasn’t that soothing. I think we compared it latter in another post with a KOA we stayed at and the contrast was a hoot.
