~ USA Through Our Eyes ~

Stories Told Through Words, Photographs, Videos and Sound

Join us, Tom and Audrey and our chocolate lab, Emma, on our journey through the United States in search of stories of life and love, joy and sorrow, of beauty, and truth. We are combining our passion for writing, photography, video and sounds to create and share the stories of those we encounter along the way.

We are spending time with people, listening to their stories, searching for the connections among us. Through it all, we are listening and allowing your stories to flow through us, through the words, the photographs, the sounds and grow in our understanding of the hearts and the minds of people ~ to see the mystery at work in this place we call home.

  2. This is so special for us to read these words Candace. We hope this for you also and believe that it will happen as it did for us. It is so funny as we look back on how it happened for us. It came totally unexpected but with such clarity as only He can provide.

  4. Hi, Audrey and Tom. As I know you better and better from our discussions, I’d like to emphasize once more how important your travel might be for the places you visit. Sometimes people can not/don’t want to go out, so it is great that the world can come to them! And you are doing exactly that. I’m sure you are enriching everybody’s experience you meet on your journey. All the best!

  8. Ha! I thought for a moment there that you had a real ‘chocolate lab’ – a place where you go to test and perform experiments on chocolate. ๐Ÿ™‚
Turns out it’s just a dog. Sigh.
Have a great day, and thanks for visiting my blog.
    Kindness – Robert.

  10. I do travel pieces every often, but there are posts on other topics. And Roxie Dammit aka The Other Cat, throws her two cents worth in when she gets time at the computer. She’s jealous of living with ZuZu, who has books written about her. Roxie, to her infinite dismay and displeasure, does not have a book about her. But she now has a fan club of bloggers insisting it be produced.

  11. Thank you for understanding Vanessa. We couldn’t believe our eyes as we read we had been nominated. We have seen so many others nominated and read their works in hopes one day ours might reach to their level. We have a long way to go but with support and talents like yours we’ll get there.

  15. Hi Vanessa. We feel blessed to read of your nomination. At this time though we would like to hold off as we gather more knowledge and understanding of this whole new world of blogging. I see so many more esteemed writers that have been at this a lot longer and are more deserving.
