July 4th, 2019 Veterans Memorial Ceremony

Hello everyone and welcome back. July is always a special month for many reasons, one of which is because we celebrate Independence Day on the 4th.

On July 2nd, 1776, the Continental Congress voted in favor of independence, and two days later delegates from the 13 colonies adopted the Declaration of Independence, a historic document drafted by Thomas Jefferson. From 1776 to the present day, July 4th has been celebrated as the birth of American independence, with festivities ranging from fireworks, parades and concerts to more casual family gatherings and barbecues. In honor of this incredible day we attended an early morning celebration commemorating men, women and their spouses which proudly include my Dad, brother, uncles, cousins and grandparents in that group who served in our military to keep America free.

We trust you will enjoy this brief audio post and its images. Don’t forget to check out our Vimeo site  to see some of our recent video productions. So, until next time be safe and keep looking up.

  1. Thank you “Daily Thankful”! Yes, those who have and do and will serve in our military deserve our respect for protecting us, our freedom and this great Country. God Bless them and their families.
