Where To From Here

Hello and welcome back. For those of you that have begun following us again or are new, you may wonder where we are going from here with USA Through Our Eyes or what direction our blog will take in the future. Well the direction we will be taking is to continue to share stories of our travels but focus more on the people we meet along the way and their stories. This was our initial goal posted on our β€œAbout” page. We will share these stories on the USA Through Our Eyes BlogVimeo  or Audrey’s  Instagram.

We hope you enjoy the stories yet to come.

  1. We are so thankful you helped us see the hiccup in our site. We like how it looks but we need it to be user friendly. We’re sure there’s a fix of some sort. AND yes when we began talking about this journey out west we immediately thought of you. To meet and share stories would be awesome. We’ll keep you posted.

  2. So glad this suggestion might be something you can work into the site. It’s beautiful, so the work you’ve done pays off.

ooh, if you’re coming to Oregon, might there be a chance to meet up for coffee/lunch? I am only one state away (Seattle!), and I may be headed to Oregon in the next couple of months to meet up with a cousin. Keep me in mind! πŸ™‚

  3. Theresa, thank you so much for this insight. You have helped us to see this point about the theme we are using and how it is very difficult to know what is current. We think the suggestion of posting little update articles could be a positive solution. We are so glad you shared this with us so we can improve how to deliver our post in a user friendly manner. We’ve had a couple challenges with the theme and attempts to work with the creators of it aren’t always productive πŸ™‚ We’re intending to do a huge road trip soon up to Oregon. We’ve always wanted to check out your part of the States.

  4. Hi Audrey & Tom! Love the new look of the blog, in that it’s very inviting and visually appealing. Congratulations! I was noticing today when I came back to the blog hoping to see what you have been up to recently – which I think was the Florida State Park outing? – I had a little bit of a challenge to find “what’s happened most recently.” The theme seems very good for organizing about type of content (article, photo, video, etc.), but not especially linear for those wanting to know what you’ve done most recently. As a slight suggestion, you could post a very short update in “Articles” whenever you do a visual post or a post in one of the other categories, that might help the blog visitor to navigate to the most recent entry. Just a thought! πŸ™‚ Hope all is well.

  5. Thank you so much Priorhouse. You have been a tremendous inspiration to us with your site. We’re still learning how to fit all the pieces together. The great part is how encouraging everyone is as we grow and learn.

  7. I’m so glad my comments have been encouraging … because I think your photos and writing are outstanding! And I do hope you’ll stick with your blog, if only for yourself. I didn’t have hardly any subscribers for the first five or six years, but I still treasure going back and reading those old posts. It’s like your own personal time machine!

  8. I have no doubt I will enjoy ANYTHING you post β€” whether its reminiscing about your travels, or showing us a bit about your life back home. Let the (blogging) adventure continue!
