Hello and welcome to part 27 of our journey through North Carolina.
Here are some highlights of our journey to the Outer Banks and back again.
Well this is it for today. We hope you come back and see how the trip unfolds as we share more of the USA Through Our Eyes. Until then be safe.
Always a pleasure. 🤗💖

Hi Anne. Sorry for the delay in getting back with you but we were out on another journey and there was no internet. So true in what you wrote about interactions with people deeply touching ones inner spirit. There is so much to be said about being out of the classroom lol. Hopefully you and us will have many more journeys to encounter.

Oh, not an issue at all. Life does get in the way of our plans and schedules and I think it’s more fun that way. I do fall off the train but I keep getting back up. It’s fantastic that the community is so understanding and supportive. Much love and hugs to both of you.

My pleasure really. 🤗 I do believe that stories and interactions/connections make life more worthwhile and positively more exciting and interesting. And you’re right about learning from others. And much better than learning in the classrooms when we were younger. Here’s to more stories to share. 😊

We have been on the road the past week and are a bit behind in our reading of post and commenting. Thank you for your patience Anne.

It is great to hear your enthusiasm Anne and we enjoy hearing your stories which in turn fuel our dreams to create more stories. We learn so much from the lives of others and as Theresa has shared it seems to knit us all together. It is so nice how you make time to talk with Tom and me. Thank you.

Something splendid to look forward to; thank you so much! Stories from adventures go a long way and although I may be a bit short on deliberate adventures, stories are aplenty. I live to create and tell stories and I enjoy hearing stories of people with whom I connect.

This would be exciting Anne. That one day may come for you and when it does we’ll get together for a great meal and some even greater stories of our adventures.

If there were no restrictions or limitations (time and money), I’d travel the whole of the USA. We’d get to you later if not sooner. 🤗

This is awesome that you’ll be venturing this way. Maybe you’ll be in a state nearby.

Always. 🙂 Even more fantastic is meeting up with online friends. We are heading States side for a visit next year but we haven’t finalized which states/cities. Thank you. 🙂

It can be so dramatic but we too enjoy a good one that shakes the timbers. Mother nature sure can get our attention when it wants too.

Well, we don’t get lightning much. When I was a kid, not at all in Seattle. I remember going to Arizona for a 6-week visit in August, and every afternoon a thunderstorm came through. My (boy) cousins used to tease me about how frighted I seemed to be by the thunder. We are getting more here as the weather changes, and now I love that sense of drama when thunder comes!

Hi. Thanks to Theresa for bringing me over here. 😄 I have lots to watch to catch up. I’d love to do some proper road trips in the States. I only got to drive between Pasadena and Vegas. But, I was a passenger while my father drove when we took the road from Pasadena and Sacramento then to Napa Valley and SF. I love your videos, too… inspirational.

The lightning here is very dramatic and wow do we love it. We would think you’d get a lot in your neck of the woods?

Oh my gosh, yes. Were you concerned at all about safety? We don’t get that much dramatic lightning here, so I’m not familiar with it!

giggle, giggle, yup, as I stood there my thoughts wondered the same. It was so refreshing looking out over the vastness and feeling the water wash over my toes and the sense of peace and joy in my heart. That was some lightning wasn’t it!!!

All that lightning – so dramatic! Loved the waves over the toes in the sand bit. How many human beings over so many thousands of years stood in that very spot and let the water wash over their feet? How many felt that delightful tingle of water on bare skin of feet? Lovely! 🙂

This is so kind of you to say Mary. We are always worried they may be too long and thus folks will get bored. We’re learning for sure and with wonderful conversations with you and others we growing.

Thank you Laina. We use our Canon Cameras then edit within Adobe Premier. It is always great when we can trigger positive memories that bring peace. We sure are having fun learning and growing. The most beautiful part of this whole journey is the interaction with people like you that keep us excited.

Omg this rocks! This looks like the work of a pro! How do you create these? And I love the accompanying music; it fits really well 😁 This looks a lot like our Texas coast, so it brought back some fond memories for me lol. I need to visit the eastern seaboard! I really really enjoyed this; thank you for sharing it with us ❤️❤️
