The Joy of Encouraging Others

Hello everyone and welcome back.

Throughout our 9 months of blogging with all its ups, downs and teaching moments one of the greatest discoveries was how the encouragement we received from others kept us going.  We have so many to thank for this.

Today we would like to take a moment and share with you a family we recently met that have joined the ranks of setting out on the roads of the USA to discover for themselves what makes this country great.  Ray, Jennifer, Logan and Aidan we bid you safe travels and many stories to share with us as you see the USA through your eyes.

We believe you’ll enjoy their travels and in the mean time please keep smiling and looking up.

  1. We are so pleased to hear your encouraging words and to also have you as a blogging neighbor! We are works in process and learning from so many wonderful folks we are getting to know and hearing their stories.

  2. WOW – you guys attract a lot of attention for a relatively new blog. Congratulations. 9 months to birth a baby – lol – but not every baby has so many fans. (jumped over to see if NC-4 was up yet — and I know I’m not the only one who is eager to learn all about your latest trip).

  3. Thank you for your words of encouragement Jenn. Just when we think we understand WordPress from using it and reading their help pages we discover something new. So hearing you share lets us know we’re not alone.

  4. I have been hearing the word “edifying” a lot lately and of course “edify” in my Bible and really took it to mean being kind, etc. But since you said that, it prompted me to look up the definition of the word. I must say a heart felt thank you, and I am very humbled that you would consider me to be a person who does that for others. It has to be God because anything that would come from me that edifies any one is most certainly Him. That has truly blessed me this afternoon, Thank you so much :):)

  5. You are so kind Margaret as is Dr. Andrea Dinardo. A life of service and lifting one another is so gratifying and necessary. Our world as a whole needs to do it more. You Margaret have a tremendous gift of edifying others.

  6. This is so kind of you to say Mary. We just look at how wonderful it is to see others taking a step outside their comfort zones to want to see more and then be willing to share it. We look at your post and how we are seeing an area that we have only breezed through in the past but now want to go back and experience its inner beauty.

  7. If anyone knows about encouragement – it’s both of you! I always cherish the supportive comments you share on my posts. Every word. Every lesson you share lifts me up. A ripple effect passed on to my students every time I teach. Thank you. 📚💚
