Rochester, NY – Our Back-Yard part 22

Hello and welcome back everyone. Today we wanted to share with you Rochester’s celebration of its 27th annual Maplewood Rose Festival.  The Rose Garden contains over 5,000 roses and 300 varieties and we attempted to smell each one.

We hope you have enjoyed seeing the photos and look forward to your next visit.  Until then keep smiling and looking up.

  1. Thank you…I like it too. I saw the man who told me the saying last night at our weekly bible study. The class is nice, we have about 19-20 who attend the meetings. We are just about done with a study of the book of Acts.

  2. That we are sheep at all and in need of a Shepherd says a lot! Oh yes, I have “been there…” I am there at present. I’m working through some “issues” of various kinds with the Lord’s help…

  3. Wonderfully truthful words spoken here! He knows just the right mix of challenges which produce in us the desire to run to Him. Then as we do we see the blessing produced. Sounds like you have been in this situation a few times? For us it has been many dozens of times. We’re slow sheep, lol.

  4. I have a “God-healthy” mixture of God’s hand…some challenges along with His blessings. May you also experience His love in this way, as it encourages growth in His word!

  5. We are sorry that your disability has hindered you from that joy of gardening. Thank God though you can have someone helping you so at least the joy of seeing and smelling them can be embraced. We like that… “colors of the rainbow”. Ain’t it great He’s given you that!

  6. No, I’m somewhat disabled and can’t do it anymore. I used to love to trim and care for the roses. We have a nice rose garden in front of our home with all the colors of the rainbow! But I pay a gardener to tend to it now…
