WOW, what a beautiful video from this country, I know that there are living many Amish people and it is the oldes settlement, but you tell it in the story I think, see it soon.

Thank you Susan. Can you imagine. They do this winter, summer, spring and fall. There were some real rainy downpours while we were there and it didn’t stop them one minute.

Wow, wasn’t there so much truth to what your Dad said. The innocence of the children and then the reality of when we grow. I wouldn’t want to start over again and that’s for sure.

Oh it sure did – the tummy ache and the memories!!
But one thoughtful memory stands out… we spotted an Amish boy holding the hand of a non-Amish girl obviously just home from school. Dad said, “It’s a shame they have to grow up.” It took me a while to understand what he meant.

Wow, the whole pie. They are so good aren’t they. She must have had a tummy ache after that one. Its great this brought back that memorable moment in time.

I remember my mom so fell in love with Shoo-Fly Pie that she ate a WHOLE one!!

This is awesome. We had ball hunting them down. We were so impressed with the history behind them and the architectural design. It is great that this was territory you once covered.

I first found a love of covered bridges right there in Lancaster County when I was a kid.
