Hello everyone. Well, we, including Emma our chocolate lab, are preparing for our next adventure on the roadways through the United States. This time we are headed off to visit with family in beautiful sunny Florida. Some know we are coming and for others it will be a surprise (hopefully a good one, lol). We anticipate leaving on December 17 which is only a couple of days from now. Our plan at this point is to make around 3 overnight stops along the way, but we all know how to make God laugh and that is to make plans. Our preference is to stay off the highways as best we can because that’s where all the real beauty in this country is. Our first stopping point will be in Morgantown, WV. From there we’ll head to Vilas, NC then on to Cumming, GA before reaching our destination, Tallahassee, FL. We aren’t expected in Florida until the 22nd so we’re sure there will be a lot of stops along the way. We are so excited to be spending the Holiday with Audrey’s Dad and Mom in their new place. We can’t wait for all the wonderful fellowship we know will take place. We’ll leave there December 27th and head on over to spend some time with my brother and his wife. This is the surprise, lol :-). After our visit with them we anticipate getting back on the road. Our return trip will take us a different route, to be determined. It should be a great journey and one that most likely will be unpredictable weather wise. I hope you sign back in tomorrow for an update.

Yes / your route would have to be extended an extra six hours for a stop this way – maybe more! But maybe some other time – keep This area on your list and leave a little time to see a few civil war battle sites .

That is sooooo special. It is our dreams to discover new friends on this journey of travel and blogging. At this moment I don’t think we’ll be close to that area? But… we’ll keep you posted.
